The Tindol Ford Team has been delivering face masks to members in our local community on behalf of Ford Motor Company's #FinishStrong initiative. Over 1M million masks have been donated to North Carolina and Ford's goal is to donate 120,000,000 masks across the country!

The Toys For Tots program was founded in 1947 by The United States Marine Corps Reserves to collect toys for less fortunate children in the local community each year at Christmas time. With the generosity of our customers and team members, Tindol Ford Subaru ROUSH helps to collect hundreds of new toys for the program annually, and every second Saturday of December we also host a Toys For Tots Mustang Run. Cruisers show up early, donate toys, then participate in a police escorted cruise throughout Gaston County to raise awareness for the event.

Like most things, the 28th Annual Cruise In at Tindol was quite a bit different in 2020. Instead of a Cruise In, the event was changed to a Cruise Thru. Drivers lined up at Tindol Ford early Saturday morning, then pulled out for a cruise down Franklin Boulevard in Gastonia, then on to the Blue Ridge Parkway. Like previous years, proceeds from the event were used to benefit the local Boy Scouts. The event also included Tindol Subaru's Annual Pet Adoption, which is a part of our Subaru Loves Pets Month efforts to help local shelters and pets in need. At least 37 pets were adopted, making this the most successful event ever! The Tindol Team appreciates the support of our community and customers which allows us to raise funds for local youth organizations and help local pets find a loving home. Thank You!

We would like to congratulate our very own, Natalie Tindol, for winning the North Carolina Dealer of the Year award. This puts her in the running for the 2020 TIME Dealer of the Year Award which will be presented at the annual NADA conference. Out of 16,000 dealerships across the country, only 49 nominees are selected each year. Natalie was selected for the state of North Carolina. The TIME Dealer of the Year award recognizes exceptional performance and outstanding community service that is an inspiration to us all. By presenting this annual award, TIME, Ally and NADA honor new-car dealerships across America and their tireless efforts to improve their communities and the world around them. We want to thank our entire Tindol Team, clients and our community for your continued support every year. The National Award will be given on February 15th, 2020. We all want to wish Natalie luck and thank the entire team for making North Carolina proud.

Congratulations to our amazing owner Natalie Tindol on being named a nominee for the Ally TIME Dealer of the Year Award! Each year Ally, TIME and the NADA team up to celebrate the many ways auto dealers are doing it right in their industry and giving back with contributions to their community. Natalie will represent North Carolina in the prestigious Time / Ally Dealer of the Year program as part of the NADA Convention in Las Vegas in February. Tindol, a former chairman of NCADA as well as the current chair of the dealer owned Dealers Choice Mutual Insurance company, was selected by a panel of North Carolina dealers to represent North Carolina. Mr. Earl Tindol, Natalie's father, was a Time Ally National Finalist in the program in 1981 and was recently recognized as part of the 50th anniversary program this past June. Natalie has worked at the dealership since 1987 and became the dealer in 2002. She was named one of Ford's six international "Salute to Dealers" as part of her commitment to support her local community.

Thank you to everyone who attended our 27th Annual Custom Car Cruise In. We raised $8,345 for the Piedmont Council Boy Scouts! The event was held on a beautiful early Fall day in Gastonia, NC, and we had hundreds of classic and custom cars on display at Tindol Ford ROUSH. Our annual Cruise In is always held on the first Saturday in October, and this year's event featured over 300 custom cars. Visitors received free Sundrop, Hot Dogs, Popcorn, Music & Prizes!!! The HOTWIRED Band entertaied everyone and the Animal League of Gaston County hosted an on site a pet adoption. We also gave away awesome raffle prices every hour. As the World's #1 ROUSH Mustang and ROUSH F-150 Dealership, we had several ROUSH Performance vehicles on display, as well as awesome cars of almost every make and model. Now, of course, we are already looking forward to next year's Cruise in at Tindol Ford in Gastonia! We hope you can join us!

The Ford Mustang remains an iconic muscle car with the power, performance, and look of a modern performance vehicle. The 2019 Mustang sees just a few changes including the return of the Bullitt and some changes to the available features. Also new for 2019 is a California Special limited edition package for the GT Premium. Here are some reasons why the 2019 Ford Mustang is your dream sports car. The Power The base engine for the Mustang is a 2.3-liter four-cylinder that delivers 310 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque. Once you get into the GT models, the Mustang gets a 5.0-liter V-8 that gets 460 horsepower and 420 pound-feet of torque. For the Bullitt model, Ford tweaks the V-8 to generate 480 horsepower and 420 pound-feet of torque. A six-speed manual transmission is standard with an optional 10-speed automatic. The Mustang Models The 2019 Mustang lineup starts with the EcoBoost which has 17-inch wheels, a limited-slip rear differential, and launch control with the manual transmission. The EcoBoost Premium adds 18-inch wheels and some interior upgrades. The GT models come with 18-inch wheels, and the GT Premium adds extra comforts with the EcoBoost Premium. The Bullitt stands out with its Highland Green exterior paint, Bullitt badging, and special wheels. more The Technology A 4.2-inch display screen comes standard in the EcoBoost along with Bluetooth and two USB ports. The EcoBoost Premium upgrades the stereo; adds an 8-inch touch screen; and comes with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and the Sync 3 infotainment system. The GT and GT Premium have similar technology. Safety technology includes a rearview camera on all models, while the GT models add rear parking sensors. Additional safety technology available includes blind-spot monitoring, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, and adaptive cruise control. The Performance Packages The Performance Package for the EcoBoost and the GT comes with larger brakes, 19-inch wheels, summer tires, and a larger radiator. It also adds stiffer front springs, a large rear stabilizer bar, and the option for MagneRide adaptive suspension dampers. The Level 2 Performance Package is an available option for the Mustang coupe with the manual transmission and adds the MagneRide system and wider wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires. It also adds a front air splitter and track suspension tuning. The Cabin The Mustang comes in both a coupe and a convertible and seats up to four passengers. Cloth seats come in the lower trims with leather upholstery added starting with the EcoBoost Premium. This model also gets you upgraded cabin trim elements, automatic climate control, and power-adjustable front seats. Additional upgrades for any of the models include a heated steering wheel, navigation, and Recaro front sport seats.
