Brake Inspection

Brake Rotor Resurfacing or Replacement

Brake rotors are where the magic of vehicle stoppage happens. The flat disc face is where the rotor meets the brake pads and is where they create friction sufficient to stop a Ford F-350 towing a heavy load. The rotor disc can get cracked, grooved, or warped with enough time and will require resurfacing or replacement to restore specifications. Resurfacing surface restores specifications by removing the minor wear and to restore a flat disc face. However, if the rotor is deeply grooved or warped beyond what resurfacing can correct, the rotor will require replacement whereby the damaged rotor is removed and replaced with a brand new genuine Ford OEM part.
